Website Design – Why Hire a Pro

Why hire a professional web designer?

In our technology savvy world, your website may be your clients’ first impression of you. The first thing many of us do when we hear of a new gadget, author, restaurant, store, etc. is to check out their website. If the website is ugly, or worse, non-existent, that’s the end of our interest.

Here’s where ComputerGeeks2Go can help.

Spend a little money to save a lot of time.

By hiring a web firm to design and maintain your website, you save hours of time that you can devote to your business, your family and friends, or your other interests.

Stand out, don’t blend in.

There are hundreds, even thousands, of free templates available for you to use on the web. There’s a good chance that other people are using those same templates too. So your online persona has numerous doppelgangers. In this competitive market, you need to stand out in the crowd. Not blend in.

Customize, don’t compromise.

With a free template you are limited by what the template has built into it. A professional web designer can build you the site you envision; not the site you’re stuck with.

Advertise YOUR products, not someone else’s.

Some free sites stick you with advertisements all over your page. This can be most annoying for your visitors and even more annoying for you since you don’t have control over the ads.

Be more than just a login ID.

With ComputerGeeks2Go you get individual, one-on-one service. You are more than just a login ID and Captcha phrase to us. From start to finish you get personal, professional service.

ComputerGeeks2Go will work with you to make sure your website reflects the “You” you want your customers to see online. And we’re not satisfied with your site until you’re satisfied with your site.

Our web design packages include:

Please check out our design packages comparison page or call us at 1-888-863-3033 or email us at sales@computergeeks2go.com and we’ll be happy to help you establish your web presence today.

  • Amazing blog! Do you hаvе any helpful hintѕ for aspiring
ωriterѕ? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a lіttle lost on everything.
Would you adviѕe starting with а free platfοrm like Woгdpгess oг go for a рaid optiοn?
Τhere are sο many options out there that I’m completely confused .. Any tips? Bless you!

    • For someone starting out you might want to try wordpress.com . WordPress is fast becoming the standard blogging tool and is used by millions. You will however soon find that the free solution has certain limitations and you will need to expand. At this point you can just export your blog and move to a paid hosting solution and reload your blog. If you need a paid hosting solution, please check out our hosting plans they start for as little as $4.99 month and would work for your blog.

  • Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.
    Any recommendations?

    • Security starts with you. The easiest way for your blog to be hacked is by using a simple username and password. Make sure any user name and passwords you use are complex and not standard. Use a combination of Upper case, lower case, numbers, and special characters. This is your best defense against hackers. We offer a few tops for creating secure passwords here: How to Create a Secure Password

Greetings from California! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to check out your website on my iphone during lunch break. I enjoy the information you present here and can’t wait to take a look
when I get home. I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G
    .. Anyhow, awesome blog!

    • Thank you for your comments. We have tried to make the phone version as functional and fast as possible. The result as you have seen is a quick load time on your phone. As more and more users are browsing on mobile devices we consider it essential to ensure our mobile websites that we build for clients are both usable and quick.

  • I think that what you said made a great deal of sense.
However, what about this? suppose you were to create a killer post title?
I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added something to possibly grab a person’s attention?
    I mean Website Design – Why Hire a Pro | ComputerGeeks2Go 101 Guides
is a little boring. You could look at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create news headlines to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about everything’ve written.

Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little
    bit more interesting.

    • Thank you for stopping by and commenting. You raise a good point. 🙂 Our Why Hire a Pro article was one of our first and I’m hoping that our headline creation skills have grown since then (they’re still growing). Thanks for visiting and for the good advice!
